The story of almost simultaneous shipwrecks and of the survivors on the sub antarctic Auckland Island. In 1864 the schooner Grafton was wrecked with five survivors and twenty miles away the Invercauld was wrecked with nineteen survivors. The first crew survived for two years before their incredible escape whilst the other crew was reduced to only three survivors.
