Eastwoodhill is now widely regarded as the most comprehensive collection of Northern Hemisphere woody plants south of the equator. The arboretum was founded at Ngatapa, inland from Gisborne, in 1910 by William Cook. His planting was continued by Bill Williams from the 1960s and in 1975 the Eastwoodhill Trust was established. This illustrated book recounts the history of this unique arboretum. Folding map to rear. A large book.
The Eastwoodhill Trust Board, Gisborne, 1997.
